Competitive Team Our Competitive team is known nationwide and consistently produces state, regional and national contenders/champions. While our competition team is generally much smaller than the handful of teams that keep producing winners, our gymnasts have been hugely successful. Here is only a sample of our accomplishments:
- Three gymnasts have received a perfect 10.0!
- Two gymnasts have skills named after them – "The House" and "The Toussaint"
- Most of our seniors receive a scholarship upon graduation
- Countless individual and team state and regional champions
- Dozens of national qualifiers (Everyone goes to nationals right? Nope – only a handful qualify from a 5 state region each year)
- Several International qualifiers
- One gymnast finished 26th in the nation at Elite (Olympic) Level
Every gymnast in our program is a winner. Sounds sweet, but in this case, it is true. Our gymnasts work hard and as a result they succeed. Whether it is a prestigious title or in making a kip or back handspring for the first time, success is a way of being. Unlike football where the goal posts are clearly marked and unchanging, gymnasts participate in a sport that constantly sets goals, and once achieved, our goalposts move further out. Anyone who has managed to compete on our team has experienced insurmountable obstacles that they have managed to overcome.
