If you asked me what makes Olympic Dreams different from other gyms or for that matter, other activities, I would have to say that we teach from the inside out. We get to know who our students are as people. We look for opportunities to teach life skills and we focus on realizing potential – through a really cool sport mind you.
Don’t get me wrong, we are known for incredible gymnastics, but gymnastics is the tool we use to capture the hearts and minds of our students while we instill an “I can do all things philosophy” as well as life skills and values such as sharing, patience, honesty, hard work, humility, persistence, kindness, teamwork, determination, overcoming fears, and leadership through service.
“If you treat an individual as he is, he will remain how he is. But if you treat him as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be.”
― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
"Goals are a means to an end, not the ultimate purpose of our lives. They are simply a tool to concentrate our focus and move us in a direction. The only reason we really pursue goals is to cause ourselves to expand and grow. Achieving goals by themselves will never make us happy in the long term; it's who you become, as you overcome the obstacles necessary to achieve your goals, that can give you the deepest and most long-lasting sense of fulfillment"
- Anthony Robbins
“A person hears only what they understand.”
